Fresh salad, with rich lemon flavor (suitable for all seasons). I prefer it in the winter. Simple appearance, stylish at serving, fresh dill aroma, abundance of turnips…


1 big cucumber

1/2 large turnip (I prefer Swede)

dill to taste, abundantly is much better

vinegar to taste (optional; adjust the quantity if you put lemon)

salt to taste

sunflower oil/olive oil to taste


Grate the turnip and cucumber on a very coarse grater (or cut them into thin, long, semi-transparent slices).

Season with vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, salt.

Sprinkle with the finely chopped dill.
